Innovate MONTANA
Initially developed under Governor Schweitzer’s office, Innovate MONTANA was created to spur entrepreneurship and spark inspiration across the state. In 2016, Governor Bullock moved to create a summit under the Innovate Montana brand to forge connections and catalyze the next wave of startups in the state. We continued to refresh and reignite the brand into the community. In 2018, Innovate MONTANA was hosting their annual symposium in Butte, Montana. Butte is a historic community known for being the “richest hill on earth” for their prosperous copper mines. Inspired by the convergence of new and old, we chose to move Innovate’s neon green branding to a patina green and the results were spectacular. We created a sub-brand Innovative By Nature to use while on the road and at tradeshows. It is still being used today by the Montana World Trade Center. Graphic Design: Leah Hathaway

Intrepid Credit Union - Brand Revival
Intrepid Credit Union had a full rebrand conducted in 2017 by a Seattle agency, once I was hired in 2021 I felt the brand could use some adjustments. For instance, the brand agency had a thick border frame bled to the edge, around every image for the institution as part of the branding guide. Not only did this make printing anything a nightmare, without the white space, it was impossible to ensure each side was the same width, making visuals look sloppy and uneven. Even the debit and credit cards had this same branding and same issue. This revival was intentional and provided small tweaks to refresh the brand and create stronger efficiencies.
All loans are subject to credit worthiness.
Intrepid Credit Union - Merger & Acquisition
In 2023, Intrepid Credit Union acquired Montana Health Federal Credit
Union. Since both credit unions run on different systems, the decision was made to wait until 2025 for a full rebrand under the Intrepid umbrella. In the interim, branding needed to reflect the new merger and remove all “federal” language since we are state chartered. Our team designed and turned around all assets in 6 weeks. Downtown Helena Farmers’ Market
The Downtown Helena Farmers’ Market is the longest running market in the state. It was an honor to embark in this rebrand with their committee - the first in 30 years.
The market is at the heart of our community. It’s where neighbors gather to find good conversation, art, and fresh produce. This is where our inspiration came from. Wholesome, bold, timeless, retro, and farm-fresh colors stayed in our minds as we added modern font and a hand-crafted look with the conversation bubble and sprout.

Helena Young Professionals (HYP) - Rebrand & Website Update
With a goal of attracting new members, Leah Hathaway, Erin Good, and I worked to redesign the dated logo and provide something that felt fresh, vibrant, and reflective of the inclusive vibes of this organization. I wanted a versatile round graphic to use on all our visuals as almost a stamp. The HYP “button” ended up being perfect for social media and use as a watermark. Like it’s members, the look is bright, young, and modern.

Office of Indian Affairs - Full Branding
The Governor’s Office of Indian Affairs did not have it’s own branding when I started as their Brand and Marketing Project Manager in 2018. It was the first project I worked on. I wanted to ensure we were staying true to our mission and acting as a liaison between our Tribal Nations and state government and promote economic development, environmental protection, education, support for social services, and enduring good will. This logo should reflect that relationship.
I was inspired by the star quilts that adorned our offices, gifts from Presidents of the Tribes. Each point on this star is reflective of the 8 tribal nations with the two halves coming together representing government-to-government
relations. My office worked with representatives from the tribes and
Indian Caucus members for buy-in on this logo and colors. We
were met with great appreciation for including them.
